How can I use the rear motherboard Line in and Mic in ports separately for different audio sources? >
> I have a games console connected to the Line in port and a microphone connected to the Mic in port of my PC's rear motherboard. However, when both are plugged in, the audio from the Line in port is mixed with the audio from the Mic in port. This means that the console audio is also captured by the microphone, which is not what I want. If I mute the Line in port, the console audio is no longer captured by the microphone, but then I cannot hear it myself either. How can I configure the audio settings so that I can hear the console audio through the Line in port, and use the microphone normally through the Mic in port?
